More Single Sets and Clearance Order

    Fullscreen capture 1022012 75059 AMcontinued...

I am very excited about this new program SU! has started.  I hope you saw my last post about the single stamps we are selling.  They have just added 2 more sets of stamps to choose from.  3 of those are never been seen stamps and I got a gorgeous snowflake stamp that coordinates with the blossom punch.  Check out these new additions!

    Set #1 and Set #2

Also, I will be putting in a demonstrator order on Monday so if there are any items still left on the clearance rack you'd like to get, this would be a way to not have to $7 S/H and tax.  Let me know by Sunday night if you'd like to add something :)

    More Cards from Blast

Here are some more cards we made at our Holiday Blast a few weekends ago.

You'll be seeing the blue snowflake one again next week.  I'll show you that new technique!

    Memory Book

I'm sure most of you know by now that I teach a scrapbooking class through our local university.  I LOVE IT.  The gals are so fun and really into it.  My kind of friends!  Here is the book we made at last Friday's Class.

You can see the silver embossing a bit better in the 2nd one.  This album uses our clear envelopes as the photo inserts.  This was so fun and I LOVE this new snowflake die!  It's so easy, but so impressive.
Here's a video on how to make this cute album.

    Firm Foam Ink Pad Video

So, we are all getting used to the new ink pads!  I love them, but there are a few kinks to get out.  Here is a great video from the home office answering some of your questions.  I know they answered mine :)

    sample cards

At our Holiday Blast, the demonstrators brought several samples of cards to give our customers some great ideas.  Here are my favorites.  My customers might see some of these again.

    Sorry for the glare :)

    Nametags

Each of the demonstrators was responsible for making nametags for our customers to wear at the Holiday Blast.  I had fun making these.  I didn't put their names on them b/c whenever I work really hard on a paper project and I write something on it....totally ruined.  So, I made them write their own names.

    Supplies:
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Basic Gray, white
Tools: Big Shot, designer rosette die, apothecary framelits, large scallop punch
Accessories: retired pink pirouette ribbon, liquid mono and chunky silver glitter

    Fire Safety Week

So, being the loving SAHM that I am (stay at home mom), I volunteered to head up Fire Safety Week at Drew's school.  So, naturally I had to put together some goodies for the firemen who came to educate the kids.  I did a search and was thrilled to be reminded of a tutorial I saw on Lynn Pratt's website: www.stampndesign.com.  Don't you think it's perfect?  Don't ask me how long making 10 of these took :)

    Candy Treat boxes

At our Holiday Blast, I made the centerpieces.  Whoever had a green dot on the back of their chair got to take it home.  You'd of thought it was a brand new card.  We are a special breed :)

So, these were made using a 6x6 piece of black cardstock.  Here is the video tutorial.  The bat punch is retired, but is on our clearance rack for less than $10.  Here's what it looks like from the top.
    It was a big hit!

    Holiday Blast

Well, I will have to say I am very proud of my downline for how smoothly our Holiday Blast went this past weekend.  We had 23 participants and 5 demonstrators present.  That means there are a LOT of you who didn't come.  You missed out for sure!  Don't worry, it's been discussed to maybe have a spring fling. Here are a few things that were said about the event.

Thank you so much for a wonderful day. Sandee and I had such a good time.  We could tell how much work and effort you put into everything that day.  We loved being able to stay at the same table and have the demonstrators move.  The lunch, snacks and drinks were never ending.  I came home with so many good ideas and felt that the whole day was well worth every cent that we spent!!  Thank you so much for all your work.
     -Peggy

The way the instructors went from table to table with the card making kits and gave instructions step by step was wonderful. Door prize give-aways  made it even more fun and exciting!  The way you kept everything going on time was awesome!  Lunch was delicious!  It was so well planned and carried out there really is no other was to describe yesterday's blast other than awesome, fun and enlightening!!!  Hope this was only the first of many!

    -Anita

See how much fun they are having?

Don't miss out next time :)  More photos of projects later this week.

PS...stay tuned.  The paper trimmer is coming next month!!!

    Ever wanted just 1 stamp?

    Fullscreen capture 1022012 75059 AM

Over the years, I have had customers tell me they really liked 1 stamp within a set, but didn't care for the rest and didn't want to pay for the whole thing.  Well, I guess SU! was listening b/c from now until January, 3 of our popular stamp sets will be available individually.  The sets are Seasonal Sayings, Word Play and Perfectly Penned.  This is a neat idea and a perfect stocking stuffer.  It's only available in the clear mount and does not come with a block.  If you look on the flyers, you will see the suggested clear block size.  Now...GO CRAZY!!!!

Click here to see the sets:
    Word Play
    Perfectly Penned
    Seasonal Sayings

As a demonstrator, I send homemade cards weekly.  It is rare to get them in return.  My dear friend, Moe, brought me a little gift, but took the time to make me a pretty card and beautiful bag.  It means a lot to know someone spent time on you.  Sometimes packaging means more than the gift :)  Love ya, Moe!

    Jolly bingo bits

I like this simple card.  I don't know if you can see, but I used the dazzling details on the holly berries.  Also, because these little guys are so small, they often pop off the acrylic block.  I put a little removable adhesive on the stamp before I put it on the block.  Doesn't fall off anymore.

    Supplies:
Stamp Set: Jolly Bingo Bits, More Merry Messages
    Paper: Espresso, white
Ink: Espresso, gumball green, cherry cobbler, daffodil delight
    Accessories: cherry cobbler scallop ribbon
