Love these Stockings

Stamp Set: Four the Holidays
Paper: Real Red, White, Silver Glitter paper
Ink: Real Red
Tools: Big Shot, snow burst and petals-a-plenty embossing folders, boho blossoms punch, owl punch (middle size circle), Stocking builder punch

Peek-a-boo Frames Die

I didn't end up using this die to make an advent calendar this year even though I thought the project in the mini catalog was gorgeous.  I am into the kid advent stuff so I used the big red advent boxes we sold last year.  Drew's elf leaves legos in each box.  Very cool.  I digress.
I used this die to make the tags for my gifts this year.  Here's how it goes down.  I find a Christmas paper I like and then I come home and match it to one of our 50+ colors of cardstock.  Pool Party matched this paper perfectly!  Then, I checked with my color coach and it said that Pool Party went with Chocolate Chip and Wild Wasabi...Well, I couldn't make the Wasabi go on this project, but the other combo was perfect!  Then I match it with the ribbon I found at Michael's too.  Chocolate Chip and Pool Party.  It was like it was made for me!  Ok...more info than you needed to know.  Shoot, I just realized that I added the ribbon after I took this picture.  Oh well, you would have liked it :)

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Stitched Stockings, Petite Pairs
Paper: Pool Party, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Pool Party, Chocolate Chip
Tools: Big Shot, Peek-a-boo frames die, striped embossing folder, stocking builder punch, 1/16" hole punch
Accessories: dimensionals, white and chocolate 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, hemp twine

Simply Scored Stocking

If you know me, I have a very hard time making a card this simple.  But, I was so excited to find it b/c I think it is so elegant.  It also gave me an opportunity to use my new simply scored tool.  Really great!  I demo'd this card at a class this weekend and sold 3 of them.  They sell themselves.  I wish you would get one!
The lines do go all the way to the bottom of the card.

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Stitched Stockings
Paper: Whisper White
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Tools: Simply Scored tool, stockings build a punch, 1/16" hole punch, cherry cobbler baker's twine, dimensionals, white organza ribbon, dazzling details, (so detailed you can't see it in the picture, but I put a dot of it on every white dot on the stocking)

Snowman Button Buddies

Here is another card I found on Mary Fish's site.  I really wanted to use the new frame embossing folders and I love the snowman with the white button.  I also have a ton of Christmas Lodge DSP left over from my class :)  One tip to share using the embossed frames.  You'll need to cut your piece of paper smaller than the actual folder or you will get the impression of the edges of the folder on your paper.
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Petite Pairs, Button Buddies
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, Whisper White, Christmas Lodge DSP
Ink: Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black
Tools: Big Shot, designer frames embossing folder, snowflake punch, small oval punch, large oval punch, owl punch (heart)
Accessories: basic rhinestones, dimensionals, neutral buttons

A Very Twisted Top Note

Here's a card I got from Mary Fish's site last Christmas, but had never tried it.  The red part is cut with the Top Note Die.  You cut it regular and then rotate it 90 degrees and cut it again.  I think that is so clever.

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Word Play
Paper: Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White
Ink: Garden Green
Tools: Big Shot, perfect polka dots embossing folder, top note die, dotted scallop ribbon border punch
Accessories: mini jingle bells, basic rhinestones, real red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, brights buttons, glue dots.

Thanksgiving Place Setting

And we're back!  Sorry for the hiatus!  It really took forever to make those place settings so I fell behind on all my other stampin' duties....but I'm back :)  Here is the picture I took of my place setting.  It's incomplete b/c this is my dining room table that I was using for a practice run.  The picture taken at my in-law's house wasn't a good picture, so this is all I have to show for my hard work.  BUT...it went over perfectly and EVERYONE was so appreciative.  It was the first T'giving w/o my MIL :(

Anyway...lots of Christmas fun coming your way this week!  Thanks for sticking with me!
