Are you inspired yet?

Here is my last sample using our scallop trim border punch.  I am proud to say I created this card all by myself :)  Pat..pat..pat :)  This is an easel card that uses the scallop trim to hold the card up.  It's such a neat way to display this pretty card.  For the heart, I just stamped the heart, punched it out and crumpled it up.  Then I flattened it out and used a sponge dauber to lightly ink the creases for the vintage look and popped it up with a dimensional.  Don't you love the crochet ribbon?  Just put a piece of sticky strip across the card and put the trim on however you'd like.

Paper: Riding Hood Red, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Love Letter DSP
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Basic Black
Ribbon: Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim
Accessories : Antique Brads, Full Heart punch, sponge daubers, dimensionals, scallop trim border punch, pearls, small oval punch, small heart punch, sticky strip

Here is a card just using the scallop trim border punch.  It adds just enough to make this card catch your eye.  This card was cased from Debbie Henderson.  I think it is so elegant.  This card uses the petal card die for the big shot.  This die was retired and replaced with the petal card punch which is slightly smaller.

Paper: Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla, early espresso, old olive
Ink: early espresso
Ribbon: chocolate chip 1/4" grosgrain (retired..don't know why)
Accessories: scallop trim border punch, perfect polka dots embossing folder, petal card die (retired), beautiful wings embosslit, glue dots

Here is yet another sample using our scallop trim border punch.  This was inspired by Naoko Page.  This one is pretty self explanatory.  Now that I have my scallop templates, I can see a card like this and know exactly the dimensions to use.  Takes all the guesswork out.  That's perfect for me when I need to make a card quickly.

Scallop Trim Border Punch Tutorial

Part 2

YEAH!!  Man, there is a lot to learn about computers, codes, file size, etc when starting a blog.  My head hurts!  But, I think we finally got it figured out.  So, that means more video tutorials coming your way.  I am obviously very new at the video thing.  There are actually places in the video where you can't even see what I am doing.  Sorry about that :(  I'll get better each time I try.  I hope you at least get the gist of it.
