You have all been waiting for it. Hopefully you all have a copy of the holiday catalog in your hot little hands. If not, just click on the picture to the right. You may have noticed that the main catalog is a little lighter this year. They did that to make room for all the incredible products they are bringing to life in this newly released catalog! My favorite stamp is on the very first page. The Ornament Keepsakes and matching framelits! No more hand cutting ornaments on Christmas Cards. Another bonus in this catalog is the discount SU! is offering when you buy both the set and the framelits! Yeah..b/c you almost have to have both of them! Might as well get them discounted a bit :) Here is the card I showed stamp club last week and those who come to my next Christmas Card Club Class will get a dumbed down, but no less cute, version of this!
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Ornament Keepsakes, Lovely as a Tree, More Merry Messages
Ink: Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler
Paper: White, window sheet
Tools: Big Shot, Holiday Ornaments Framelits, 1-3/8" circle punch, peppermint scented embossing powder, heat tool
Accessories: Shaker frames, chunky glitter
Since we don't have craft ink anymore, I suspected that since the new ink is wetter than the old classic ink, it might emboss. Well, it does, but you have to be FAST!!! You have to be immediately ready with that powder and it's still not as good, but you should try it! I used the peppermint powder and it smelled so good!
Here is a video with another cute idea and details on how to use our shaker frames.
