More Swap Cards!

Today's swap card was given to me by one of my new adoptees.  I love to have as many people in my group as possible.  If a demo doesn't have a direct upline in their lives, I take them in like a stray puppy :)  I tried to get adopted and was left out on the curb...so I have a special place in my heart for these ladies and appreciate their wanting to be a part of our group!

Today's swap was made by Carol Edwards.  I forgot to take a picture of the inside and the envelope.  Both done very nicely.

Supplies:
Simply Soft (hostess set)
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Whisper White (great use of our new In Colors!)
Ink: Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Calypso Coral
Tools: Big Shot, perfect polka dots embossing folder, lace ribbon border punch (new)
Accessories: Basic rhinestones, dimensionals, blender pens

Thanks so much Carol.  You taught us so much Saturday and we appreciate all you brought to give us and show us!!

See ya tomorrow!

You are not seeing double

I cased this beautiful card from Lee Conrey.  There are several elements to this card.

Card Tips:
As you can see, the perfect polka dots was only used on the top 2/3rds of the card.  I stamped my greeting first and then ran it through so it would go exactly where I wanted it.

The white polka piece is put on with dimensionals.  When you put two of the same color together, it's good to raise the top layer to show depth.

I don't have a video to show you how to layer the rectangle scallop clearlit, but it is the same technique as I showed during artistic etchings were.  Click here for it.

Here is my tutorial on tying bows.

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Nature Walk, A Word for You
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist
Ink: Basic Black, Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz
Ribbon: Marina Mist 5/8" satin ribbon
Tools: Big Shot, perfect Polka dots embossing folder, Scallop retangle clearlit, aquapainter
Accessories: dimensionals, snail adhesive

Doesn't have to be pink and red

Here is one final card cased from Mary Brown.  It is using the same set we have been using all week, but you don't HAVE to use it only for Valentines.  I think the ribbon I used on this card was too big, but it was all I had in the right colors.  Go here to see Mary's great ribbon tying tutorial.  So, if you case this card, use a lighter ribbon.  This one is too heavy for such a sweet card.  BUT...PERFECT TO PUT IN MY 8 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER'S HAIR!!!  I'll be making that tomorrow.

Supplies:
stamp set: filled with Love
paper: pear pizzazz, chocolate chip, whisper white, so saffron, baja breeze
ink: pear pizzazz, choc. chip
accessories: perfect polka dots embossing folder, pear pizzazz stitched poly ribbon, choc corduroy brad (was on clearance), bitty buttons, oval die, small heart punch, word window punch, modern label punch, dimensionals

DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT???!!!
