Club Make N Take

Today is the last day to earn Sale A Bration products!  I have to say in 9 years, this has been my favorite SAB!!  They have really done a great job of offering such an array of products and really smart to do things that coordinate.  I'm sure I spent more than usual just so I could get the matching supplies:)    You can earn this stamp set, DSP, and brads for today only!!  This envelope was made using our simply scored diagonal plate.  I will never be w/o a matching envelope ever again!

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Fresh Vintage. Chamomile Stampin Around Wheel
Paper: Poppy Parade, Pool Party, White, Everyday Enchantment DSP
Ink: Poppy Parade and Limeade markers
Tools: Big Shot, scallop circles #2 die, 2.5" circle punch, 1/8" hole punch
Accessories: Poppy Parade ribbon, everyday enchantment brads

The simply scored tool's diagonal plate comes with the directions to make a standard size envelope like the one here and a love note 3x3 envelope.  It can make any size envelope if you have the math gift to figure out the dimensions.  I don't think it would be too hard.  But, what I do want you to notice is the ever forgotten stampin around wheel.  The one I used on the envelope went very well together with the image in the fresh vintage set.  It's a great tool to roll your envelopes with to make your packaging more special!

I really don't know how people come up with these things.

Tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of our Annual Sale-A-Bration.  Spend $50 and get the paper to make this cute egg pedestal :)

Last Chance SAB

Ok, counting down!  Here is another project I got from Craft Project Central!  Completely worth it!  This project coordinates with tomorrow's card so get ready!

Fun Coasters!!  I can't give you the directions b/c of where I purchased the tutorial...BUT... I think you can see the clear scallop square die somewhere in there along with maybe some corkboard that we sell?  Hum...maybe some window sheet and some multipurpose adhesive sheets?  Good Luck :)

more rejects

Class Announcement!!!

If you haven't been to craftprojectcentral.com, you are missing out.  For a small fee, you get 10 projects a month and let me tell you, they are nothing to sneeze at!  I have duplicated at least half of them each month.  This project just so happens to be one of my next classes.  Thursday April 19th 6-9.  So, I will not be listing the supplies for this one, but if you would like to attend the class, you will receive the tutorial.  This can also be made as a take home kit for any of you who are out of town!  I am in LOVE with this little Sweet Shop!
This class includes the adorable transformed craft box along with 6 love notes and coordinating envelopes made with the diagonal plate for our simply scored!  You have to get one!

The fee is $25 and you will get everything to make this, plus you will half the products in the dsp, brads, stickers and get a whole spool of lucky limeade baker's twine!  There will be plenty to make another set of cards when you run out of these.  It won't take long!  Hope you can make it!  Bring a friend.  Absolutely no stamping in this project.  Super easy!

Stamp Club

Sorry for the delay in posts.  I usually set about 10 posts at a time and I can't believe how fast 2 weeks goes and I forget :)

But...Club night is my absolute favorite day of the month.  It is so fun to share what I love with such wonderful ladies.  They are just like sponges ready to absorb everything I show them.  It is such a treat to be with them.  This week I will focus on the reject projects.  I don't demo anything and they don't make it...so it's a reject...but not b/c lack of cuteness!

This first card was cased from stampingpro.com

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Elementary Elegance
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, sweet shop DSP
Ink: Wisteria Wonder
Tools: Big Shot, Stripes EF, large scallop circle die, floral fusion embosslit
Accessories: in color brads, dimensionals

Peach Parfait Frame

I believe I cased this card from Chiaki Haverstick.  She is amazing.  Check out her blog.  I loved the use of our new framelits on this card.  And SU! does a great job making lots of products that coordinate very well together like our frame embossing folders, our label framelits collection and our large/wide oval punch for the center.

Supplies:

Stamp Set: Elementary Elegance
(SAB)
Ink: Espresso, Peach Parfait
Paper: White, Everyday Elegance DSP (SAB), peach parfait

Storage

Mary Fish comes through again!  Even though Stampin' Up! has done a better job than the other companies who make framelits with the packaging, Mary went even further and I LOVE IT!

We sell empty stamp cases and sheets of magnets!  I am proud to say that I am a Stampin' Up! purist. Some people don't understand why :)

Spring Fever Simply Scrappin'

I have always loved our Simply Scrappin' Kits.  Our Spring Fever in the Occasions Mini is no exception.  I used to only use these kits to do scrapbooks for my children, but since finding My Digital Studio, I just don't make the time for the paper scrapbooks I used to work so hard on.  But, just because these sets have the phrase scrappin' in them doesn't mean you can't use them for other things.  This product is also a great product for beginners to use to make very quick cards like this one.
I love how bright these colors are.  Obviously ready for spring!  I didn't use anything not included in the kit except the word and the marker to ink it up.  I think anyone would love to get this in the mail!  BUT...let's say you'd like to step it up!  Try this for size.  Add a few layers and dimensionals along with a fun edgelit and you have a spectacular card!
Supplies other than the kit:
Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Phrases
Paper: Melon Mambo, white
Tools: Big Shot, edgelits, small scalloped circle, jewelry tag punch
Accessories: lots of dimensionals!  Can't make a flat card!

I hope to get around to making cards with the rest of my kit.  I'd love to do a class around this kit!  Doesn't matter how old I get, I still love stickers and SU! has the best of them!

Case from Stampin' Success

This was a card I couldn't wait to make!  It used so many of the new items in the occasion mini that I knew it would be perfect to demo at my stamp club!  Boy was I wrong!
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Flexible Phrases, Mixed Bunch, Bordering on Romance
Paper: Pear Pizzazz, White, Twitterpated DSP, Blushing Bride
Ink: Versamark
Tools: Big Shot, blossom punch, heat tool, 3/4" circle punch, adorning accents edgelits, adorning accents embossing folder
Accessories: Blushing Bride Pleated Satin Ribbon, white baker's twine, white embossing powder, dimensionals, basic pearls
I love so many things about this card, but it was NOT easy to make.  The new edgelits are a challenge to say the least.  Because they are so thin, they move very quickly.  A few suggestions I have read about are: using dotto to keep your edgelit in place, or even masking tape.  I even took it a step further.  I wish I had taken a picture of this, but I didn't.  Take the edgelit I used on this card and take a sharpie and mark the center.  Then make a mark 2.75" on either side so it would fit perfectly on a 5.5" card.  You really need to play around with this product.  It does spectacular things, but not without a little training first.

Double Pocket Card

This is a fun little project.  You could put a cookie in each pocket or a 3x3 card.  It's such a clever idea.  I got this idea from Julie B's Stampin' Space. Click here to see the tutorial :)
Supplies:
Paper: Berry Blossoms DSP
Accessories: Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon
Tools: 1" circle punch for the hole

Chapstick Holder

I have seen this cute little ditty all over the internet.  Here's one place you can see how to make it.  This was one of my door prizes at my Feb. Club meeting.  I could have really dressed it up, but this was the very last thing I made before my friends came over.  I'm always a little stressed right before and then it's my favorite day of the month!
Supplies:
Paper: Island Indigo, Twitterpated DSP
Accessories: Baja Breeze seam binding
Tools: Big Shot, label framelits

Poppy Flower....

I adored this card I found online.  I love the Island Indigo with that giant splash of Poppy Parade color!  Just in case you can't tell, there are 2 blossom punches at the base of the flower, then the scallop circle snipped b/t each scallop and then the largest of the boho blossom flowers.
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Fresh Vinatage (SAB), Take it to Heart, Delightful Dozen
Paper: White, Poppy Parade, Island Indigo
Ink: Island Indigo
Tools: Blossom Punch, small scallop circle, boho blossom punch
Accessories: 8mm pearls, sponge dauber, dimensionals

Confused Top Note

Of course, I saw this technique first on Mary Fish's blog, but I was excited to see someone else make this one. All you do is put your paper onto the top note and run it through the big shot, then pick the paper up, rotate it 90 degrees and put it through again!  A great idea!  Thanks, Mary!
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Elementary Elegance (SAB)
Paper: Crumb Cake, White, Pool Party
Ink: Espresso, Lucky Limeade
Tools: Big Shot, Top Note die, lace ribbon border punch, curly label punch paper snips
Accessories: dimensionals, lucky limeade ribbon (SAB)

The girls actually go to make this card.  I think they had fun with it.  Again, SU! does an excellent job creating new products that work with old ones.  Like in this card, the center of the flourish fits our curly label punch perfectly!

March Morning Class Paper Flower Arrangement

I am so sorry this is late again, but I am excited to offer another morning class this month!  We will be making a bouquet of either daffodils or Gerber daisies to put in this cute watering can.  I assure you this project is WAY more adorable in person.

A note of warning, the daffodils are very easy, but the gerber daisies are quite involved...NOT HARD...just involved.  You may not finish the whole bouquet in class, but could easily finish at home.

This class will be $20 and that includes the can and floral wire

I will offer my discount on any of the punches used on this project along with the daisies #2 die used to make the gerbers.  You must let me know that in your rsvp.

I hope you can make it and please bring a friend!

I will need the RSVP by Thursday noon and no later.  Sorry for the late notice.
Here are some up close images of the 2 flowers.

This project is so beautiful!  I hope you can make it!  I will give more details after the class has occurred :)

Stamp Club Samples

For the rest of the week and most of next, I will be showing you all the projects I showed/demo'd at stamp club last month!  I will have a new club forming as of July, so be thinking if this might be just what you need to jump start your paper crafting habit :)

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Curly Cute, Fresh Vintage (SAB)
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Early Espresso
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Early Espresso, White
Tools: Big Shot, stripes embossing folder, stamp punch
Accessories: dimensionals, paper snips, early espresso baker's twine

This is a great technique called color blocking.  Take a small image and put lots of them on your card in a block formation.

Sorry :(

I cannot believe that I forgot to post for a whole week!  I usually spend the weekend before setting all of my posts for the whole week.  I went out of town with my 2 kids by myself and I must have totally gone crazy, b/c I forgot.  I am so sorry.  That means you have missed the announcement for a great product!

Announcing our Simply Scored Diagonal Plate for the Simply Scored Tool!
Click the picture to see a great video about this product!

It makes envelopes and boxes and other really cool cards!  I don't have one yet, but I plan on getting on with my first order this month!  It's only $11.95 item number 125586 if you want to order online.  You will never have to use a boring white envelope again!

And, while you are at it, don't forget we have 26 more days of SALE A BRATION!  If you haven't gotten any free products from this promotion, I promised you won't be disappointed!  Click on the photo at the top of the sidebar to see all the great products included in this annual promotion!
